Rain Frances Creations ... Favorite Animals

Favorite Animals

Isabeau
Izzi ... Mini Aussie

I have had pets, dogs and cats mostly, all of my life, but I have never had a pet as smart, versatile and loving as Izzi was.  She was the center of our lives for the 14 years that she was with us.  So yes, a favorite animal ... they don't get any better!

Loving
Though  Izzi was our dog, we bought her for our           Granddaughter.

At the same time that we had Izzi, we were blessed with a pair of boy kitties, born in the office closet to a cat I had rescued.  We took her to Spay and Stay to get her spayed and they said, nope ... can't do it.  She is about to drop kittens ... after the three little boys were old enough to be separated from their Mom, we found a home for her (Latte`) and for one of the little boys.  The remaining two became Da Boyz ...
two goofy and fun loving little inseparable boys.  So they became the cat versions of our favorite animals.

When it comes to wildlife ... the Fox is a favorite.  We had a family of Fox living in a grown over lot across the street from our house on the lake.  The babies were left on their own when Mom and Dad were hunting.  The Kits played while Mom was away :)

This is Peek-a-Boo.  She lived in the tree in our back yard and became something of a family pet.  Here she is bringing her babies to show us :)

As a child, my first and favorite toy was a stuffed Dumbo.  I grew up having a love for Elephants and my Grandmother used to send me an elephant figurine from places that she traveled to.  I also collected Elephant antiques.

The original Dumbo and the original with the Dumbo my parents tried to replace the original Dumbo with ... that was never going to happen :) (above)

(below) a few pieces of my collection.

Alas ... The End
Hope you all are safe and warm.  Still mourning the state of the politics in the USA ... what do my Canadian friends think of the idea of becoming our 51st state?  The man is mentally deranged!

RAin Frances Creations ... City Streets

 City Streets

Streets of Chicago

This barely scratches the surface of Chicago streets.  And, there are many more cities I could add to this prompt, but as always, enough is enough.

I am mortified by what is happening to our country.  I pray that somehow we will be able to rid ourselves of the sick "!#**%!" who believes he is a king and his equally demented side kick.  We will never survive 4 years of this.
