Friday Face Off

VanGogh has long been a favorite of mine.  This is an old painting I did of him some years ago.  Some of you might remember seeing it before, but I brought him up today to share his homely face in a version of his own self portrait :)

We are about to celebrate the 250th year since our Declaration of Independence.  What luck we have to be experiencing the attempt to undo our Democracy and replace it with Autocracy at the same time.  I think I will celebrate our democracy quietly in my home, on my own.  Can't even imagin sharing it with our so called leader.  

But to those of you who care ... Happy 4th of July and Happy 250th Anniversary :)
