Thursday Art and Dinner Date ... The First Thing I See Today

The First Thing I See Today

This used to be my first thing to see ... or should I say hear in the morning, but

There is now but one lone voice beckoning me at an early hour.  Chachi may be blind, but when it is time to eat, he can find me and let me know ...

If you are wondering where Buffy is when it is time to eat ... she is sitting in the window observing the wonderful outdoors and dreaming of her past freedoms.  I have to go get her when it is time to eat :)`

I love this! Seeing your pets first thing in the morning is the best!

Oh dear Andrea,
so you have a blind cat, too? Our black Nina is 19 years old and lost her eyesight about 2 years ago - we don't know exactly how it happened. One day we noticed that she was hitting obstacles and that was it. Nina has also a tumor on her right bodyside since several months, which is suspected to be cancer (the doctor says). Last summer we had to say goodbye to our red Maxwell (maybe he looked like your Chachi), he was 17 years old. It's not easy when beloved pets grow old (on the other hand, we don't want them to die young either...well...). Sometimes it's annoying when you're woken up by hungry animals, but we know from experience how we miss it when we can't hear it anymore.
Caress your darlings tenderly from me!
All the best from Austria and have a good week!

I have no furry friends to wake me up in the mornings, seeing your shots make me not sure I miss it! :) Or maybe I should have one? Might make me stick to daily rhythms which I lack these days.
