Friday Face Off

I worked with raptors at a Raptor Rehab Facility for years ... the Barred Owl was a favorite  and we lost him this year at age 15, which is a good age for an owl in captivity.  We miss his funny little face and all of the antics he went through when we were training him for flight from glove to glove or when we tried to catch him up to take him for a walk.  He was quite the pistol and there wasn't anyone who didn't love working with him.  So this is a tribute to our Barredy ...

It must be fascinating to be able to work with raptors. How amazing to be so close to such a special bird Barredy. I am so sorry for your loss. Your art is a beautiful tribute.
