Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Fairies

 Fairies

I have more fairies in my past art but was unable to find them.  My files are a bit out of control :)  So may you all have a fairytale life with only the good realities.  And, as I say that, I assume the fairies in the Ukraine are in tears as are we all as their beautiful country gets scorched by a villain.  My prayers go out to them ...

I suspect that the fairies of Ukraine are in hiding right now, having been supplanted by hobgoblins and trolls. The tragedy occurring there is an unspeakable horror.

Faeries are a fun subject to draw. I love yours with her pretty purplish pink hair! Her dress made me think of Tinker Bell. I met the first Tinker Bell model, Margaret Kerry, at annual event The Mayberry Day festival several years ago in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. She was had a minor role in the Andy Griffith Show playing Bess Muggins. That was really a lot of fun. The same year, I met Barbara Eden and Ron Howard's younger brother, Clint, who was also on the show. I'd love to go back again for this event. Have a good weekend, dear friend!
