Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Dragons

 Dragons ...

These are all dragons from my past ... Nothing new this week.  My time has been spent doing catch up with things that I let go while doing my Izzi photo book.  So hope you are all doing well.  I do wish one of these dragons would swoop down and burn the  *%#!* out of the Russian troops that are invading Ukraine.  My heart breaks for the Ukrainians and I admire their bravery and commitment.  Till next week ...

I also had trouble finding your most recent post, but I love, love, love these dragons. Genuine beauties and so well drawn, too.

I am also saddened by the state of Ukraine, but I'm not sure the Russian troops even know why they are there, since Putin lied to them. It's a bad situation all around but my heart goes out to Ukraine.

The dragons of war have truly been unleashed in Ukraine. We wring our hands, gnash our teeth, impose sanctions, donate money, accept refugees, and all the while permit Putin to have open air space, unchallenged, to systematically pulverize every city, and even attack nuclear facilities with potential jeopardy for all of Europe (and the rest of the world for that matter). He did it yesterday, he is doing it today and will do it tomorrow, and NATO and the western alliances and their political mouthpieces, will be unwilling to stop it. He even has a cheering section in the USA, and religious fundamentalists claiming it is God's will, that Armageddon is about to happen, and eagerly awaiting it. I read that the world has gone mad. I think to claim it has never been sane is more to the point. We are barbarians at heart.

You did a great job on the pencil sketch of your dragon. I like the little guy. He's not at all scary. :) Thanks for the encouragement with the upcoming A2Z challenge, my dear. Have a blessed weekend!

I LOVE your dragons Andrea! Especially your fire-breathing dragon, it's really gorgeous! Thanks for your lovely comments of late. It's been very hard to deal with so much loss, but the days are getting brighter, literally and figuratively! ☺♥
