A quick sketch and then painted with water color ... of course the water colors didn't show up in the scan so I had to repaint it in Photoshop :(

Every year I do a comedic photo for my son at Christmas ... this one was done when he was still Scuba Diving.

Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Unicorns

UNICORNS

This is a Unicorn painting done by my sister for my daughter's room when she was born.  It has stayed in the family and hung in grandchildren's rooms  but now, sadly, it is in a box.  I will find a good place for it ... perhaps a great grandchild will appear and it will once again grace a happy room. 😊

Another little wood carved household piece ... guess we have always been into Unicorns :)

Oh yes, and a picture holder with my DIL and my Granddaughter :)

My Izzi would have loved playing with a Unicorn.  Perhaps she will have the opportunity on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.  Hope you are all well and finding ways to support the Ukrainian people ... There are safe places to donate :)

Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Angels

My zentangle crane who flies with angels ...

This is Mopsy's Angel (my Mother's nick name) who appeared in many of her Christmas cards.

I am so torn over what is happening in Ukraine ... it is so hard not to just go in and save them and yet I understand the need to only help by providing arms, food, water and clothing.  Is there no one in Russia who can do something about their insane leader?

Today is St. Patricks day, so think green :)

I have more fairies in my past art but was unable to find them.  My files are a bit out of control :)  So may you all have a fairytale life with only the good realities.  And, as I say that, I assume the fairies in the Ukraine are in tears as are we all as their beautiful country gets scorched by a villain.  My prayers go out to them ...

Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Dragons

 Dragons ...

These are all dragons from my past ... Nothing new this week.  My time has been spent doing catch up with things that I let go while doing my Izzi photo book.  So hope you are all doing well.  I do wish one of these dragons would swoop down and burn the  *%#!* out of the Russian troops that are invading Ukraine.  My heart breaks for the Ukrainians and I admire their bravery and commitment.  Till next week ...
