Thursday Art Date With Rain
Jack O' Lanterns
This was the first time I had ventured from the traditional Pumpkin face ... It is my dog, Izzi who I adore. It was more fun than I imagined, but haven't tried anything since. Maybe this year since I have Poppy and she is a blooming artist.
The witch was an after thought. I saw her on the pumpkin stem and couldn't resist embellishing her so you could see her too :)

Paint Party Friday
Paint Party Friday
This was done for a prompt on Thursday Art Date With Rain ... creatures of the night. I drew the figures, colored with color pencil and then enhanced them digitally. There are more Creatures of the night if you go to Rain's Blog.Andrea @ From the Sol

Creatures in the Night
So Creatures of the night are probably my favorite so far. Of course being a lover of raptors, I had to get in my owl and Turkey Vulture ... they can be scary, but wonderful and important to maintaining our natural balance as are the wolf and lion. Vampires on the other hand ... :0

Thursday Art Date With Rain
I have never been afraid of clowns, but I have seen pictures like this one that I wouldn't want to meet on a dark street ... :)
This is my first experiment with pastels on black paper, but of course I had to do a little digital adjusting to intensify the effect.
I sat in front of this fireplace for years and it wasn't until I took this picture of our little Maggie (who seems to be oblivious) that I saw ... well, do you see it?
So ends another week of scary ... two more to go :) Have a good one, everyone :)

Ghosts & Ghouls
I laugh every time I look at this ( nothing like laughing at your own jokes, Ha!)
The Goblins will get you if you don't watch out ... :)
Tis a fun time of year ... I love ghosts and ghost stories. I chuckle at some of the superstitions that people have. My granddaughter, for instance, holds her breath every time we pass a cemetery so she won't suck in somebody's spirit. Now I can think of some spirits I would love to suck in, but then I don't think we would have a choice, Ha! Have a great week everyone ...
