What a special memory.
You are correct, handmade. My pic today is one of those I found at Goodwill for 4.99! Can't begin to think of the work that went into it. Great pics.
I really like your sketch Andrea but also that you brought a little history to it. I really love back to basics and doing things by hand. This is very lovely! :)
such beautiful handiwork!
Wow, Andrea, I so adore people that can do this sort of handwork craft. Excellent job. And GREAT interpretation of the theme too. Thank you so much.
BTW, I did reply to your request for IG help on the comment/question you left me there. If you go to your profile and click on the home page, look up at the top right and you will see a red circle with number on it - click on that and read my directions. Let me know if you got it.

Looking forward to seeing your daily sketch work over there! :) Thank you.
Andrea, this is beautiful. I visited a wonderful lady named Elizabeth in a rest home for several years before she passed. These could be her hands. You brought back a memory and a tear. Thank you.
That is such a wonderful artform for tablecloths. I love your rendition.
As a crocheter, I am quite intrigued by your painting. That must have taken quite some time to get all those stitches drawn so consistently. Very nice!
Yes, handiwork created by our loved ones is so very special - lucky us who have kept items, use and display them!
Awesome sketch! I love the story behind the tablecloths. My mother used to make these and she taught me how to do it too. I never made a tablecloth, but I did make some runners to put on my dresser top. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
