Favorite Fictional Character
Wow, this was a tough one because I read every kind of book I can get my hands on from Fictional History to Children's Books (one of my favorites was Alexandra's Lady Bug book which I gave to my two favorite little girls). But if I have to own up to a favorite ... I love mysteries. And, because I am a nurse (as was my Mother), I love to read how forensics plays into the solving of crimes. My most frequent forensic reads are Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta Series. Her stories are intense and thrilling throughout and when I need a break from the intense realities we live with in our daily lives, I curl up in my chair with one of her books and read, read, read. You really do challenge us, Micheal. Thank you again ... this was fun.

Must check out that series - Patricia Cornwall is a great writer - and I do enjoy learning about the mysteries of forensics and how far they've come - according to all those crime dramas on TV which hubby likes to watch.
Welcome to the picnic Andrea - hope you like jam tarts!
Mary -
What a great illustration....I love the EYE....this is sensational.
I like mysteries. they're great for escapes from the everyday. I have not heard of Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta Series but I'm sure if you like them, then they're probably good.
I like the no face art you have here. it's like a mystery.
have a lovely day.
That's really cool Andrea! I love your scribble this week...I know what you mean, I had trouble narrowing it down too! :) I've read a few Patricia Cornwell's books and they are really good! I love the best sellers on a hot summer afternoon on the porch! :)
Cornwall is a great writer and I love those stories. Nice job.
I do enjoy picnicing with you.
And reading.
Lovely choice Andrea, I had guessed Nancy Drew at first but pleased to meet Kay Scarpetta!
I know lots of people like mysteries - I like them but not the killing part.
Glad to see you again.
Blessings

I'm on instagram.
I love mysteries too but I haven't read this series. Love the artwork!
Ohhhh super fun contribution. I love mysteries! Probably my favorite, next to children's books. Great piece!! :)
Great work on your illustration, Andrea!
I've heard of her but have not read any of Patricia Cornwall's books...must change that as I do love a good mystery novel.
Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta Series is an excellent choice and I love that slightly older world feel about it, very detective like, with the imagery and muted palette. I wonder what she'll detect at the picnic? Hmmm...
Love your comment about those books Alex illustrated too. She's been fortunate to work with some excellent authors, must say.
Ohhh and I failed to say "THANK YOU" for your sweet comment about my Ladybug book. So humbled. xo
Your Scribble art is wonderful. I loved all the photos of the birds on the pond and the ice fishing folks. I remember doing that once when I was soooo much younger.
You have a great day, hugs, Edna B.
