Wild Bird Wednesday

I saw this happening and grabbed my camera and shot.  I don't think I even had my eye on the eye piece, so it is a little blurry, but I think I captured the moment ... OUCH!
Bird pictures are hard to come by in this weather.  I have some but it is the same birds that come to my feeder that I have already posted.  I have even gone back into my files for some posts ... I feel like a starving artist.  Will this winter ever end?  Hope you are in a better place to pursue your passions ....Have a Happy WBW wherever you are :)

Cute little guy! I haven't seen much of our birds here since we've had all the snow! I've put food out, but I guess they don't like frozen bird seed!! Don't blame them!! Hope we both get some sun soon!!

I do think you captured the moment! I hope you aren't going to be totally froze this week. I am sending you warm thoughts even if I cant send some of our above average temps in the desert southwest.
Stay warm,

Ah, the early bird gets all the seed - much better than those stupid worms.

What a great shot, Andrea. You are right, it's sometimes very hard to get good bird shots. They don't usually pose for us. Instead, they fly away as soon as they see us. I don't have as many birds out here as I usually do the rest of the year. I wonder if it is because of the extreme temps and nasty weather.

I just have to look at how the Southeast gets shut down with this snow and ice to realize that things could be worse here. Still, I'll be oh so glad to see Spring come with its flowers and warmer temps. Pogo sends licks and woofs to Izzi. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Wonderful capture, Andrea! The things a bird has to do to get a little food! Hope your weather breaks on the good side soon for you!

We are quite blessed here in central Florida as our poor weather usually doesn't last long.
