Boy, I love this texture ... I could make a whole portfolio using it alone. Thank you Bonnie for your inspiration and your textures ...
The challenge this week, if I understood it right, was to see what we could do with the Leafy Landscape Texture ... an open challenge to our imaginations and creativity. I can't wait to see the range of responses Bonnie gets this week. It should be fun and you should join in, first as an observer, then a participant. You will love it :) Here is what I came up with ...
Each of my pictures was done with the same technique. Basically I used PSE Enhance options to bring the picture to a sharp, clear tone. I then added the Leafy Landscape Texture, adjusting the opacity to what I wanted then using the mask/brush tool, I brushed out those parts I wanted to highlight. Same technique, different results. Hope you enjoy ...
On this one, I used the dry brush filter before I added the texture ... gave it a more artsy look :)

Fantastic creations. Love the effects you have used.
These are fantastic! I like the texture!
Such a lovely set of images, my favourites are the Egret and the Dove. I'm so impressed with diversity of the pictures using the same texture.
Truly amazing. Truly beautiful. I so look forward to your Photo Art Friday posts. Megathanks.
Good Morning. I L-O-V-E your edits !!!!!! Happy Friday
Wow! You were inspired to create a lot! I think I like the pigeon one best.
What a fabulous job you did with your photos. I especially like the last two. The lamp is gorgeous!
I found your kitty photo quite amusing. They seem so happy with each other. Obviously, they are a constant source of joy for you. That speaks volumes about you as a person. Animals are so comfortable around nice folks.
I'll be counting the years till the big 80 when we can do "lunch". You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
WOW! these are great, and it looks as if you had a blast with this texture. I have to say that I especially love this bird eating the sunflower seeds as that is such a great capture as a photograph, and the texture made it so interesting. love them all! Looks as if you had so much fun with this!
Super job on all of them but that sunflower and bird is really awesome.
OMG you've outdone yourself this week. These are awesome. Loved the Cat, The Pigeon and the Egret shots the most but my gosh you really nailed using this texture.
these are amazing! what a creative use of Bonnie's texture!
Andrea you did wonderful things with Bonnie's texture. My favourites have to be the cat and the watermelon. I like the way her pretty eyes look out at us under the lacy leaves.
And you have made watermelon look even more yummy than it is! I like the combination of that pink and the lace.
My grandson sat down to a big bowl of it yesterday. He saw that I had one little piece with my yogurt and said "I think I will have this one"! He is 2 1/2 so i let him.
Such lovely uses of this texture.
Glad you had so much fun - and such fantastic results that are each unique. Inspiring!
this looks like great fun and I think I might try following your lead. I still haven't got the hang of brushes and erasing and making certain parts of texture go away, but I can see how using one texture with several photos might make that start to sink into my brain...
BEautimous+++
So much creativity here. The cat and the dove are my favorites. You've given me some ideas.
stunning work! I think they are all quite wonderful and I love the heron (?) and your treatment of that photo best of all!!
