Nicole is going to love that skull Andrea. And sorry to say I don't live near Chicago as you asked in your comment on my blog. I live in New Hampshire, so SADLY meeting up wouldn't work. But I'd love to visit the city again some time, so I will definitely keep that offer in mind. Have a wonderful holiday weekend. Hugs-Erika

Dear Andrea,
"Nicole Friendly skulls" sounds funny 😉 Nicole would probably beautify this skull with her decorations.
I was so happy to receive your lovely comment, thank you very much! According to her owners (who live a few houses away), the cat Samia is a Maine Coon cat. She came into our lives when our 19 year old cat Nina died and she has brought us so much joy ever since. Every day she visits us and she is gentle and lovely and funny. She is also not afraid of our little grandson, since her owners have two little girls. After her visit, she moves on to other cat friends or returns home.

How nice that you also have been able to save birds. When I was a kid, my parents owned a trailer that we went to every weekend. There we once found a young sparrow that was not yet able to fly well. We took it into the caravan overnight - and the next day it was already flapping around in it. So we released it and hope it had a nice sparrow-life.
Warm July greetings and all the best,
Traude 💋💋💋

A skull a day; now there’s what I always wanted, Andrea. I have a good friend who has emptied her China cabinet of all the “good” dishes, figurines etc and now has it filled with animal skeletons. Perfect!

I am SO sorry I missed your post from the museum last week. What I thought was just a mild form of food poisoning turned out to be something far more serious. This skull is a great face for FFO. Glad you went back to the museum. This should be a fun series.

re the picnic, I eat the protein at home. After the hike. I don´t really want to walk a long distance whith a full stomach. It feels heavy. What I bring i things that gives me energy. And water or juice. :)
