Thursday Art & Dinner Date ... Mazes

Mazes

Doing mazes and other challenging games like Sudoku, hidden pictures, crossword puzzles, etc. are all supposed to keep your mind working ... hmmmm!  So why doesn't my mind want to work all of the time?  No, I am not losing it, I am just getting old and my memory doesn't seem to want to come with me.  I am the classic "why did I come in this room" person.  But, that said, I still seem to be able to function safely and my FH and I get a lot of good laughs out of our old age lapses.  Life is Good, so they say 😁
On another note ... anyone who has lived with or lives with a cat knows what this picture is all about , right?  All for now folks ...

I lived with... mice.
Clever guys, partially, too.
And yes, oh how often do I think "what did I want?"
No cat - Hubby doesn´t want them, sadly.

I hear you on that drawing. Every time. And now that Jazz is gone I miss it. Add me to the why did I come into this room category.

Good morning, Andrea: I guess that pets can affect your lives in more ways than one. My daughter got a new puppy and for about a year they were very careful not to leave shoes anywhere that might tempt the dog, and after it turned one they relaxed their guard. One night, for no reason that she can think of it chewed a pair of her shoes to pieces! She is not a shoe fanatic and has only what she needs so it was a serious loss. Of course, the dog did not decline one iota in her affection! As for losing your mind, your creative artwork proves beyond doubt that you are far from that! Hugs from Ontario - David

Ha, I belong to that "why did I come in this room?" category as well. Of course that cat wants your attention just when you want to solve some puzzle. I don't own cats, but two of my neighbors' cats who reside in my garden own me. Sometimes they are allowed into my studio (with the door to the rest of the house firmly closed - my studio can be accessed from outside) and they don't have anything better to do than stretch out on the laptop when I want to use it...

Thank you for saying you are the "Why did I come into this room" person. So am I -- yesterday I made two or three trips with that question before I figured out what I was looking for the first time. I really do love this piece and it worked as well for mazes as faces. Plus it has great joy and whimsy!
