The male is the stunning bird most people think of when they contemplate a Northern Cardinal, but the female is beautiful in her own right, a little more muted, but soft and elegant.
Oh I do love cardinals :) We get them around here so rarely.
nice shots.
Cardinals in the cold wintertime are a spot of color in an otherwise drab atmosphere. Nice job.
One of my favorite birds! I see lots of them around here, but they fly before I can get a pic.
Hello!:) Cardinals are always great to see, especially when it's Mr and Mrs.:)
Cardinals are so pretty.
Great shots of cardinals. Always liked them. They are Illinois' state bird. We have a pair that have nested in our back yard for years.
Wonderful birds - a friend of mine who lives in Ohio has them in his garden (and at least 3 types of woodpecker!)
Trips in 2018? Well, the most exciting one is a six day walk that H and I are going on in Tasmania at the end of the year. Backpacks, tents, carry your own food sort of thing. Should be great - and it may even start a tradition!
