Still Hangin'

This is the longest time the eagles have hung around.  Usually they come for a short time until the lake freezes over then they are gone until it starts to open up again.  There is a small open water area on the lake in spite of the cold weather, so they are staying, fishing and "Seagulling" apparently successfully enough to keep them here.  Can't say I am sorry :)

Fonzi would make an excellent Cabinet Seat Selection ... he is smart, kind, willing to learn, loves everyone and an outstanding leader(Alpha)  Besides he hasn't done any insider trading, dodged his taxes, believes in PUBLIC Education, believes in the threats of Climate Change, understands the threat of Nuclear Weapons, believes in the right to vote and the importance of immigrants to our country, understands that HUD is complicated and requires expertise to run, doesn't want to lift the sanctions on Russia so he can make billions on Russian oil and has never been accused of plagiarism ... and that's just the top of the iceburg!   :(

A Cold Winter's Day

 This Bluejay is picking through his choices looking for the energy food he loves ...

 Ahhh, found it ... a perfect little suet ball that will keep him warm for at least a little while.

I add suet balls to all of my feeders and on the ground in the winter for the birds that have a hard time getting to the big suet feeders.  They are gone within an hour of putting them out.
