Wild Bird Wednesday

Great Egret
A rare sighting for me this year.  We used to have Egrets everywhere, but here it is September and this is the first Egret I have seen.  I don't know where they have gone ... hopefully their population isn't diminishing.  But, this was a handsome fella ...

He wasn't happy with my intrusion and headed off to ...

the other side of the lake :)

Hello!:) Lucky you to see this large egret. It's not a bird I see very often. Have a great week!:)

lovely shots! I don't think they are diminishing as we see lots of them in Texas. They are so graceful aren't they. Hope all is well!

Your egret is beautiful. We don't ever have them in my part of the country. I love your Falls photos. Such a beautiful photo of you and the kids! Ooo, I loved that rainbow!

Have to run along. I want to get my grocery shopping done and be back home before Joe gets in from work. Pogo does not like it when he misses his turkey treat!!

Give Izzi a hug, and you have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
