How do you do ...

Pictures, pictures everywhere... I have so many pictures but few places to share them. My pictures are strictly amateur; I have no claim to fame. I love photography, and on occasion I do manage a good shot. Whether this blog will go beyond pictures I do not know, but I reserve the right to venture into other area's of interest!

As to how I got here...my story is long and varied. My parents were bright, creative, talented and loving. I am the result of a very happy childhood. My mother and sister were extraordinary artists. My best efforts were lacking until I tried photography. The camera is my attempt at creativity.

I am a wife, a mother of two, a grandmother, a Nurse, a friend to many and (I think) a retired "Old Poop". I am a lover of nature and defender of all animals. I have pets that you will meet in my pictures, some of which come from my efforts in rescue. I spent four years working with Raptors, through rehab and education.

It is my goal to try to focus on the positives in life and spread some happiness around (a commodity that seems to be hard to come by in current times). My views are upbeat and hopeful. I've been called naive, but I see good and beauty all around me. I hope you will enjoy what I offer as much as I am going to enjoy sharing with you. Life is good and we can be happy...it is our choice!
