Swords
Once again, I don't have any pictures of swords, so this is all I have to share this week.School has started, mornings are cool, some early signs of changing colors ... all signs of Fall, my favorite time of year. I always marvel at how fast summer seems to pass but I am never sorry to see Fall arrive. Best of days to all of you :)Andrea @ From the Sol

Unlike you, I am always sad to see the end of summer. Fall might have pleasant days, but we are not that far from winter.
That's a pretty girl and sword.
Nice piece Andrea!
I like that you depicted a woman rather than a man with a sword. And like you, love autumn. Spring seems to have arrived here.
Yes school is about to start again. I’ll have to remember to add five or ten minutes to my trips to account for waits behind school buses.
...and summer is waning.
Dear Andrea, I also have no problem welcoming autumn. It's still too hot here. My post today actually shows swords - pure coincidence, because we were at a Celtic festival near where we live at the beginning of summer. (You've read in my previous comment that we're no longer traveling around the world, but have long since returned home.) I like your red-haired knight lady in the ancient walls!
All the best from Austria, Traude

Well done, Andrea! Your drawing makes me think of Joan of Arc. I love all the seasons, but if I was forced to choose, I'd opt for autumn. It always feels like the true beginning of the year, because I've lived much of my life in school and in education. It's a beautiful, mellow time of year. Hugs to you!
After a hot summer, we hope of autumn climate. Your scene, Andrea looks historical indeed.
Have a wonderful week. Greetings by Heidrun
