PS: As for your question about whether we like US politics... At the moment I see more hope than ever before. But I don't like the way the political battles are being fought (especially by one side). And the sad thing is that more and more right wing politicians in Europe are taking this guy as an example when it comes to convincingly telling untruths. It seems to be achieving success with a large, unthinking part of the population, and that is dangerous - because it has led to times in the past that should not be repeated...
My husband said that during TV confrontations, a short fact check should always be shown at the bottom of the screen so that the population can see when lies are being told... And a website with more detailed information should be installed...

Andrea, I think you mastered this challenge really well.
Oh, politics. I love the new energy and enthusiasm that I can see since Biden stepped down as a candidate. I like Kamala and I also think her choice for VP has been a good one. Walz seems to be a very decent guy which I can't say of the other guy. I have so much more hope now than a few weeks ago and I hope that Kamala will win.
