Thursday Art & Dinner Date! Fruit ...

 Fruit

So, is he climbing in or climbing out? :)

Another of my mother's paintings ...

It has been freezing this week and I am spending time bundled in a blanket or a coat ... the good news is, we have a beautiful white snow cover outside so I can't say that winter is all bad :)

Be well and stay warm ...

I think he's climbing in, to join all his fruity friends! What a delightful grin on his face though!

When I first saw him, I didn't think he was climbing in or out. I thought he was balancing the bowl. Happy Thursday. hugs-Erika

Dear Andrea,
the apple looks like a child who is happily climbing into the swimming pool or up a tree house with friends. So IN :-)
Your mother's painting is stunning - the fruits, the shadow, so natural and yet not like a photo!
Keep warm! Best wishes - have a happy weekend and a good February,

Climbing in for a good taste, for sure! Your mother's picture looks absolutely splendid to me, Andrea. It always adds extra pleasure to possess artwork with a personal connection and the fact that yours not only pleases the eye but evokes memories of your mom is no doubt extra special. She was obviously very talented. Stay warm in those cold conditions. I highly recommend a brisk walk, suitably dressed of course. Come on up here and we'll do it together!

...today isn't a day to be out, I'll stay in and eat an apple.

Haha, Andrea! That cherry is escaping because it knows everyone wants to eat the cherry in fruit cocktail! Stay warm and safe, my friend. xo

Your mother's painting is simply gorgeous! And I have a feeling Mr. Cherry is climbing IN to be with his pals! ☺☺ We had a big cold snap here too over the weekend but today it's a little milder and snowing, so pretty! ☺

hi Andrea,re your question: We have a DOLLARSTORE shop, thats where I bought the image free black calendars. About cold wheather I go out for forest and naturewalks every day, mostly for 3hours or shorter if it is really cold and windy. I dress myself in several layers depending on the temperature. :) hugs Monica
