Thursday Art & Dinner Date ... Masks

This started out as a pastel on black paper, but of course, once my scanner got ahold of it, it required some doctoring.  So I guess you would have to call it digital art :)

This is all I could come up with ... this was a difficult prompt for me.  I have a picture somewhere of my son in scuba gear under water, but couldn't find it :(  So that's all I have for today ... have a wonderful week everyone :)

The mask art is wonderfully done, Andrea, and reflects the period we have all been through - in fact have not shaken yet. I still wear my mask in any public setting, but I seem to be in the minority. Perhaps your pictures will be used to illustrate an historical event that shook the world! All the best - David

Classic Greek Tragedy and Comedy masks, Andrea ~ well done! I love the young hockey player. I used to love watching the Lone Ranger when I was a kid. thanks for the memories. Have a great October!

Andrea you asked (in your comment on my blog) about the Instant Pot. I like mine. It's a pressure cooker or slow cooker, depending what button you push. And what I like is I can brown meat or whatever else I need to first cook right in the pot and then add everything else to it. It does take awhile to get all pressurized when you put it on, so if it's a quick meal you want, sometimes it can be quicker done on the stove. But for beans it is great! I can make the soup when I get up in the morning and have it by lunch. (I pressure cook the beans for about 40 minutes, and then I shut it off, let out steam, open it up and add the rest of my ingredients and then put it back on to finish the soup.) Hope this helps. hugs-Erika
