Thursday Art Date with Rain ... Sun and Water

 Sun and Water

A Simplistic Digital Painting ... just for fun :)

We lived on a lake for 15 years and every morning was a new version of the sunrise ... so my issue again was picking out the best of them because I have many, many pictures.  Actually, I wasn't able to go through all of my pictures, so if Rain decides to do a repeat on this prompt some day, I will be able to bring up fresh new photos :)  I suggest that you click and enlarge to get the full effect of these photos ...

The next two collages are from some of my travels ...

And then some older art pieces ... mostly digital art :)

Our weather has been so bad lately, rainy and cold for the most part, that it was fun digging out some old pictures of the sun and the water.  Of course today and for the rest of the week we are supposed to be in the 80's with full sun.  Good timing, Rain 😊

Sunrise and sunset, especially in connection with water, are for me the mot wonderful things. My apartment faces east, so I see the sun rise every morning, but I have to go down to the Rhine to see it set. Thanks for sharing your wealth of beautiful hotos hugs, Valerie

You certainly have a plethora of beautiful photos of sun and water. You also are SO well traveled. Just beautiful and I am truly and deeply impressed. You certainly nailed this week's challenge. Truly well done, dear Andrea. Just beautiful.

Not only do I love the not so simplistic sun and water piece, but you have so many wonderful photos. I can imagine it was fantastic living on a lake. Not only did you get beautiful sunrises, but so many other memorable moments. Thanks for sharing not only your lake photos but some beautiful sunrises from other places too. Who doesn't love a sunrise or sunset Hugs-Erika

Sun and water are the very definition of a vacation for so many, but too much of either one can be deadly! Right now, I have the right mix of both where I am. Lucky me!

...water makes sunrises and sunsets twice as nice and you have seen some lovely ones!

Answer to your comment on my blog. Where I live the ocean is not gentle and the roar is like 10 freight trains. No easy lapping of the waves. LOL Pacific Northwest coast is rough. Anyway for me. Thanks for stopping by.
