Film Noir
I am later than usual and was lucky that Rain was late too. I have one vaccine shot down and one to go ... looking forward to less stress:) Though I do know that the precautions are permanent until another day :( Be safe everyone ...

Hi Andrea :) I'm so glad you got your first shot! Yes, I was late yesterday, we kept losing power from a big wind storm and I'd be halfway through uploading photos and bam...modem dies. And then we had brown outs so the modem didn't quite get the juice it needed...I gave up around midnight! :)
Humphrey's hat is spot on!! :) Oh and Vertigo is one of our favourite movies...you did a great job with Jimmy!! :)
Love your art - and am thrilled you have had your first shot. Mine is months away.
Great portraits, and that fedora in particular ROCKS! Casablanca is my all-time favourite movie!
hi Andrea, I am no fan of film noir either. But Casablanka was good as I recall.
Glad you got the first vaccine shot. I have not, Sweden had problems with getting them from the manufacturer, but I think it is comming again. Plan for Sweden is all grownups should have vaccine before summer. If it goes as plan. But I am not sure I want it. It is not 100% safe and I had some issues earlier. If I take the vaccine shot and get sick, I might loose the "nature" biom I have that keeps me safe in the woods. Among deers and birds. That scares me. And I don´t meet many people anyway. I will not get sick.
Take care!
OMGoshhhh you nailed this theme, and with two of my faves. Vertigo is one of the greatest movies and you can't go wrong with Humphry. Wonderful job here.
Very beautiful work, I like it - and I'm glad you had your first shot. The Netherlands makes a mess, maybe I'll get the vaccine someday!
...I see that you are more familiar with films noir than I am. I should get out of my cave more often.
Andrea,
Oh goodie, two classic film noirs that I've seen and love! Great depiction with both sketches.
Sorry to be late to your blog for a comment but I had issues with my blog settings but now they have been resolved that's why I disappeared from blog land for a few days!
We had real spring weather for over a week, with high temperatures ... see you tonight! The temperature dropped a few degrees below zero and I am very worried that the Magnolias are frozen!
I hope spring returns soon!
