Signs of Spring

Migrating cranes

My friend had hundreds of tadpoles in her pool.  We scooped them out, put them in pails and took them to a nearby stream.  I am guessing the flying insect population dropped in that area :)

Time flies when you are having fun, so they say, but I have found that time also flies when you are not having fun ... Go figure!  So here we are another week under our belts and still no progress toward getting rid of the beast.  It would seem that this is going to be a long drawn out affair ... Stay safe everyone.  Don't be tempted to go out  or back to work before it is time ... and logic, good sense and science will tell us when that is.

Your spring post is delightful, such a pleasure to drop by Andrea. I think your link today at Rain's pulled up last week's post by the way.

hello Andrea,
the link is wrong but I found you.
Beautiful your post on spring!
I think the beautiful painted pictures and the tortoise rescue are great that you put them in your brook. The birds and animals are great. But also fun your dog photo.
Yes, the world is still about the virus and everyone has to be careful that no 2 pandemic comes back. With us, people think they can loosen up again with the distance and many do not stick to the contact blocks seen again today.
So take care and stay healthy!

Loving your beautiful, hopeful images.
Stay safe, stay well.
And yes, this beast CAN be tamed. My city currently has NO active cases. There may of course be others, but there are no active cases known. Social isolation has worked well. And will continue here for a while (better to be safe than sorry).

I'm so glad you saved the tadpoles ~ That was sweet and what a great pic! ~ Your daffodil is beautiful, and I love the picture of the bird house ~ Great signs of Spring. Blessings to you ~

I so love your paintings, Andrea. I loved the daffodil and all your paintings today. They are fabulous.

I love your words of wisdom and hope. I only wish it were true. I have a friend who doesn't feel it's safe to return to work, but not going back is the same as being terminated with no chance of collecting the federally funded unemployment checks. Too bad our (U.S.) govt. doesn't put life or science before finances.

lol, Well you have a very cool looking Easter bunny :)

I have seen frogs, small and large but very rare. Not even every year. But I have not seen tadpoles since I was about 10 years old.

Take care, stay safe.
