My first thought on transformation was that of a caterpillar to a butterfly but as you noted as well as I the new year takes on transformations within each of us. The holidays itself out with the old and in with the new is purrfectly depicts transformation as in your whimsical illustration. Thanks for making me smile. Have a blessed 2020, my friend!
