I have seen the common goldeneye at a distance, but not close enough to get a good pic. Nice shots!
It's like she dipped her beak in a mustard pot! :-) They are lovely, male and female!
Such a pretty duck. I sort of hate when the word ‘common’ is used in the name (I understand, but still hate)...it would be rare and wonderful for me to see this beauty!
Splendid birds! I saw my first ever on of these on a geography fieldwork day when I was at university. Which was a rather long time ago!
