It seems only fitting that I should return to my blog on Mandarin Orange Monday as that is the place where I posted last before departing to Switzerland. The trip was wonderful, but as always, there is a price to pay when one travels. The first of these prices is what happens to your body when you traverse more than one time zone. Oh my ... Then, of course, there is all the catching up on things that need to be done when you get home and finally, in my case, there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of pictures to go through, edit, categorize and play with. So, if I get off to a slow start here, be patient. I have enough pictures to show and stories to tell to fill a life time. It is good to be back ...
The late evening sun reflecting off of a mountain side ...
There were a lot of clouds in the mountains when we were there. Some were misty like this one, some simply hid everything from view. But all added character to the beautiful scenery.

Welcome back. You have been missed. I am glad that you had a wonderful time (and unsurprised).
Welcome back! You made the mtns. look like chunks of copper. It is interesting how the differences show between morning and evening.
Your header is MO, too! I wonder what it would look like if you played with it in different settings.
Beautiful compositions....welcome home♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/red-peppers/
Welcome baack! did not realize Switzerland had red mountains...
Majestic and colorful! Looking forward to more photos!
Welcome back. I love your mountain photos. I agree, your editing makes them look like large chunks of copper. Beautiful! I imagine you'll be busy for quite some time going through all your photos. Have fun, and have a great day. Hugs, Edna B.
Love the pictures and can't WAIT to hear more about your trip. That is another on my bucket list to see someday.
Welcome home and what a great entry back. Can't wait to see more of your trip.
The swiss alps are indeed so gorgeous. When we were there, one of my favorite things was a train trip that we took through the alps, passing through some of the most quaint villages, and seeing some of the most amazing "lifts ever" Personal ways off of the mountain. Great shots
Hi Andrea You are very impressive to get off to any start at all - I have only been on a 2 hr plane flight and I will be out all week, you've crossed the world and still shown up bright and breezy for MOM - Welcome back!
Looking forward to seeing more of your Switzerland trip

Welcome back :-)
(yes, coming home is always a lot of to-doing)
The pictures are gorgeos.
For me Switzerland is nearly, but I could not travel until now. Know it only from pictures and from the popular childrens book "Heidi"
What a wonderful scene! I like your edits, too.
