Wild Bird Wednesday

Winter Regulars ...

Yes, we are back to winter again ... snow on the ground sub freezing temperatures, but this little gang seems to tolerate it well.  Top to bottom:  Dark Eyed Juncos, Nut Hatch, Gold Finch.  Stay warm everyone ...

  3. Great shots of the dark eyed junco, nuthatch, and goldfinch. Some of my very favorite birds at my feeders. Thanks for sharing.

  5. I hope you are as happy and as brave during your 'second winter' as these intrepid birds. Lovely portraits! All of them are ones we used to see at our feeders in Oregon but don't here in Florida; thanks for the memories!!

  6. I remember seeing a small flock of Dark Eyed Juncos in a car park once (a very long time ago!) I had to beg for help from a passing birder to ID them!
