Friday Face Off
This Fox Squirrel was at the Raptor Rehab facility. That is the only place I have ever seen them. In our neighborhoods we have Gray Squirrels ... just as cute, but not as handsome :)

A charming little encounter, and a lovely reminder of how much variety there is in wildlife once you start noticing the differences. Even the familiar ones have their own quiet appeal when you take a closer look.

Here in Montreal, Canada, I have only seen gray squirrels and rarely a black one. This is a gorgeous squirrel. Thank you so much.
