Mute Swans are surely among to most elegant birds of all, Andrea, perhaps even THE most elegant. They are quite common on lakes and rivers here and we never tire of them. They are sitting on eggs already and soin there will be cygnets. We are fortunate that at certain times of the year they are joined by Trumpeter Swans and Tundra Swans. They are all magnificent!
