Sunday in the Art Room ...

Sunday in the Art Room

I like to make cartoons for cards and whatever.  This is me and my friend, Kathy.  We are, what you would call, tree huggers.  We have been going to the Morton Arboretum on a regular basis for years ... but now my friend is sick and when I text her she doesn't answer.  I worry about her and I don't want to go to the Arboretum without her.   I have thought about just going over to her house, but since I don't really know what she is sick with or if she is in any condition to deal with a visitor, I have just been waiting for her to contact me.  It makes me sad ... I miss her.  So I made her a card (bottom) and I hope it will cheer her up.  I also hope she will let me know when I can come see her.  Just sitting and waiting😢

That has to be frustrating and worrisome. I hope you hear from your friend soon so once it is tree hugging season again (if its not already) you can go out again. I hope she loves that card, but I bet she will. Have a great week. hugs-Erika

This has to be very worrisome. Is there a family member you can contact to find out what's going on. I agree with you about NOT just dropping in on her. I know with all of my heart she will love this card. A very nice way to tell her you care. Thank you so much for sharing your art and story with SITAR. Have a nice evening.

When I lived in Chicago I used to go to the Morton Arboretum. It is a great place in good weather. sorry to hear about your friend, Kathy.
