Oh Andrea, where do you find these magnificent creatures -- and how do you get them to sit till long enough to capture such wonderful images. They are magnificent and your photography is wonderful.
Lovely pieces for the Face Off.
Ohhh Andrea these are stellar photos. Just beautiful. The female looks like she is saying you better listen to me. The male says look at me I'm so handsome. LOL I like them both. Thank you for sharing wiht FFO and have a lovely weekend.
You have terrific Kestrel photos. What an intimate portrait of the female. I've never seen better.
Those kestrels are very handsome birds. And you captured that so well with your photos. I really enjoyed seeing these. And mom does look like she could be one tough lady if needed. Have a wonderful weekend. hugs-Erika
Good morning, Andrea. Thanks for the pictures of the kestrels. This is a species that has become decidedly uncommon in recent years. It is a gorgeous little falcon and I miss seeing it with its former regularity. Sadly, like so many other birds, its population is in serious decline. Stay well and enjoy life. Hugs - David
Andrea, both are excellent photos of amazingly beautiful birds. I sometimes see kestrels here, but never close enough to really appreciate their beauty. These photos are terrific.
