Friday FaceOff
This is a painting of our rescue cat Buffy (the Dragon(mouse) Slayer) She really is a happy, loving cat, but tends to have a frown on her face most of the time (Go figure!) Anyway, she is another Orange Tabby. We have two female Orange Tabby's which my Vet tells me is very unusual, because the females of that color are rather rare. We have also had a male (Chachi) which some of you might remember. I am guessing he and his brother (Fonzi) will show up on FFO sooner or later.
So, we are having a Spring like week ... Temperature in the 60's and bright sunshine. I am loving it, but I am guessing we will get hit hard with something less desirable in short order. Hope all is well with you ...

Sweet Buffy!
...we could use a Buffy the mouse slayer! We will have a thaw next week, but certainly not in the '60s. Historically here, spring doesn't arrive until the first of April. Andrea, be well.
I love orange kitties. I've had 2, both males, and I've heard the same thing about irnage cats usually being male. Our last orange kitty was Leo, and he was gigantic. My vet said his ideal weight was 22 pounds. I love your wonderful art today, and enjoy that warm weather. This winter has been long and cold, but I'm happy with the temperatures being around freezing. But I would be ecstatic if we hit 60. Have a great weekend and Valentine's Day too. hugs-Erika
I just love that you have orange cats -- and your vet is right! Gypsy was a boy (but when he was a kitten I thought he was a girl -- till I went to get him spayed!). He was the most loving, affectionate creature I've ever known. I'm curious if your orange girls are super affectionate. (Our kids have an orange girl too and she is very selective but just incredible with the kids who have manhandled her from the time they met!) I really love your painting of Buffy. I'm so glad you are getting some warmer weather. We are too, but not like that! Enjoy while you can.
