DVArtist Sunday in the Art Room

Sunday in the Art Room

Art in Thailand
Most of the art in Thailand reflects the Buddhist Religion or the Royal Family.  There are exceptions though, which you should be able to pick out among the pictures I have posted.

A street light ...

Thai Airlines ...

Gateway
The MeKong River

The King

This barely scratches the surface of Thai Art, but gives you some idea of the focus of most of their art.  Enjoy ...

Wow! This is very impressive. I don't know much about art in Thailand. These photos have really opened my mind to it all. I'm wondering if the color yellow has some significance? I will have to look that up. The white temple is so ornate and stunningly beautiful. Then so out of place is some of the art at the flower show. I totally love this post and thank you for sharing with Sunday i the Art Room. Have a very nice day.

Thailand looks amazing. And everything looks beautiful and arty too. It's interesting how art also reflects the royal family. Are they very much in control of the country? I don't know much about the Thai except that I'e heard (and see photos) that it is gorgeous, and I know I love Thai food. Thanks for sharing these. It's like taking a little trip from home. :) Happy new week. hugs-Erika

So breathtakingly beautiful and so spectacularly unique! I'd love to go to Thailand if it wasn't so hot there.

And to think that I just remember the great birding there! Well, that’s not quite true. I remember the congestion and the extreme air pollution in Bangkok! Hugs - David

These photos are just amazing. I have never been to Thailand but when I see images like this, it makes me want to hop a plane! The art and architecture is quite stunning and very interesting. I'm so glad you shared this.

AND, I wanted to thank you for your visit to my space and your lovely comment. Your comments always really brighten my day and I am so grateful! I hope you have a terrific day. (And I like your idea about having your friend do the Lego cat and pass it back to you!)
