Finding my way back ...

So, what does one do when their favorite Art Blog goes on hiatus ... well, I have to admit, it has been a struggle.  I had grown dependent on Rain's prompts to inspire my art so I had to find a different source.

My Granddaughter (the older one) turned out to be my source.  She just turned 29 and she was married on Dec.21st of last year ... Sooooo, why not a book of Granddaughter memories :)

If you have ever laid out a book you know that you go front to back until you reach the middle, therefore the few samples I post here will each show early life and recent life ... let me tell you, at my age, this was not easy 😅

                                            Izzi                                         Maisie (Hayley's current Aussie)

So, just a few sample pages ....
 on  to the next :)

Charicatures of Hayley and Justin (to be honest, I drew the faces and borrowed the bodies from public domain :)

On to my other source of inspirations ...

The bane of America's exsistance !

I avoid listening to the news most of the time because his rediculousness is constantly on it ... so instead I draw pictures to relieve myself of the anger and disgust I feel everytime I think of him.
So, what's new with you?  I miss my friends on line and hope I will figure out a way to become active again.  Meanwhile, enjoy what is left of summer ... and honestly, I am looking forward to fall :)

Hi, Andrea: It’s great to see you back. We have all missed your wonderful art and observant commentaries. Sadly, you will have a long road ahead for least the next three and a bit years. Even were he to disappear suddenly you would would be dealing with Vance and I am sure that would be no better. Rally the Democrats. They seem to have totally faded away. All the very best - David

Thank you, dear Andrea – I was very happy about your comment. I'm currently taking a break from blogging because we're traveling again, which means it will be a while before I can continue blogging – but I wanted to at least leave you this little greeting.
Keep your chin up, dear!
Hugs and all the best, Traude
