What a fabulous collection of beautiful photos that fit the theme perfectly. But I have to ask you (please forgive me) - is the raccoon really there or did you photoshop him in? If the latter - great job! If not, what a wonderful capture.
I love to walk in the woods. Your photos are so gorgeous, Andrea! They transported me in the woodlands right away. Yes, I would not like to be there at night either. Even dusk gets a bit eerie.
love your post, Many places looks about what I have. Or shall I say, had, as they keep cutting them down. :(
You ask about the art, Journal and such. I started with that as I have no place to go anymore. Since Friday challenge ended I don´t fit in anymore. Noone seem to paint anymore. Journal art is popular it seems but I am not that hooked yet. Too much glueing and looking for "sayings". And food everywhere.
On TAD there are more food and recepies then it is art. I might skip it all. But I have lots of colors still in the bottles. I don´t really want to throw it away.
Beautiful shots, Andrea. Woodlands are both therapeutic and a treasure trove of discovery. I cannot even begin to think how many hours I have spend in woods and forests around the world. Most of it has been during the day, but I have made night excursions in search of nocturnal birds and mammals, and it is quite a different experience, and one is one edge a little, especially in places where poisonous snakes exist. But I have camped in the forest, and once the fire is lit and the tent all set up, the night is quite magical. With my very best wishes - David
Are these woodlands near you? They're just fabulous -- what great detail. Don't you find a walk in the woods to be so therapeutic. (Maybe not on a hard-core mosquito day, but in general!) Love that fungi!

Love all the different textures and patterns you found in the woods.
Oooh and ahhh. Until that last shot, I could feel my shoulders relax. Thank you.

I so enjoyed these Andrea! Beautiful.
...I love what you collected. Somehow I messed up Rain's prompt, the woods would be so easy for me. Thanks Andrea for sharing, enjoy your weekend.
I love that last one Andrea, lol! Very fun! Your woods photos are glorious, especially all of the gorgeous trees! ☺♥
