Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Motion and Movement

Motion and Movement

Our Izzi is motion personified.  She was in full speed motion when we got her as a pup and has not stopped ... though I will admit, like all of us, she has slowed down with age.

Aussies need a job to keep them occupied.  Agility was Izzi's and if you look at her little face, you will see how much she loved it ...

She was just as busy off the agility field.  My granddaughter is her best friend  and she too is an example of motion as you will see ...

Raptors are another example of motion if you are lucky enough to be there when they are doing what they do.  This is a falcon and a Great Horned Owl attacking a lure.

My friends live on a ranch and  these are pictures of their horses in motion.

Just for fun ...

If you noticed Izzi is smiling all the way through the course ... happiness is motion to Izzi.  Those were wonderful days that I miss, but I am so grateful to have experienced them.

P.S.  Sorry to have missed last week.  I got up one morning and my computer had crashed  ... it spent a week with the Geek Squad and hopefully we are back for good :)

You have shot great motion photos with the dogs, birds, and horses. I especially like seeing Izzi going through her paces on the obstical course. She is a talented dog, and you are a fine photographer.

I was amazed at Izzi. She is so amazing. She is beautiful and the video showed how happy she is when in her element.

Your granddaughter is also amazing. You got some incredible shots of her. She is certainly a star.

You found many perfect examples of motion including the horses and raptors. I knew you would rock this week's theme. I really missed you last week and am glad you are not ill as to why you missed.

What a lovely post Andrea. You are rightly proud of your best pal Izzi. She truly is a Wonder Dog who has such an obvious and wonderful impact on the people she meets.

What wonderful, interesting great moments from the moves and Izzie and your granddaughter together is so fabulous. You spent a wonderful time together with your great dog and the memory is beautiful. The horse ranch is also great.
Again a very touching post from her world.
The PC when he doesn't want to, I'm always so happy that my partner can handle it so well I wouldn't be able to do what he does with so many capers on my own.
I hope for you that it remains functional again, have a good weekend, hug Elke

Both your granddaughter and her dog are filled with the energy of youth, where boundaries don't seem to exist. I can still walk "forever" but bursts of speed are a thing of the past!

wow andrea, this post is amazing. So much motion. Yes Izzy is full of it and your granddaughter reminded me of the days my daughter was doing gymnastics. Love what you made here.
Take care!

Wonderful examples of things in motion but my favourite is your slide show of Izzi and you can see she certainly enjoyed the agility course Andrea. I hope you have a great week ahead

Andrea...I love your first piece with the meteor shooting down...but Izzi stole the show! She has such a sweet face and I love that she experienced agility fun! Great video, she really does look so happy! Your granddaughter too, wish I had that agility lol...I'm working on it. Back to yoga soon and I just got my bike fixed. I'm not going gently into that good night that's for sure! :) It is sad to see our pets age, but the memories last forever! :)
