Thursday Art Date With Rain

My Dream

My dream is that I will live to see racism and bigotry the exception rather than the rule ...
My dream is that our younger generations learn that kindness and fairness will bring greater rewards than greed or thoughtlessness and that my children and my grandchildren will be able to live out their lives in a peaceful, thoughtful nation that accepts everyone as having equal rights and opportunity and that we all can continue our pursuit  of Happiness.

Tho many would disrupt the peaceful demonstrations in hopes of creating chaos and preventing the demonstrators from  achieving  justice ... this time I have hope that justice will be done and we are about to embark on a new fair, kind, open society ... the one I have always dreamed of.

Wonderful array of pictures, we are on a similar wave length again today. And good that some pictures give us hope, which is so necessary if we are to mend the rifts in society. And I'm hoping for a good outcome of the elections and that enough citizens of the USA will this time make the right choices! Stay safe! Hugs,Valerie

I love your message of hope. One of the things I hope is that the demonstrations do not result in a spread of the Coronavirus. It all looks so dangerous to me. Keep your camera handy.

It is a wonderful message that is so important for our society to finally stop fighting what is no longer necessary. Holding together and being against each other against environment and nature. Our world is not saved udn against human just because he has a different skin color or different. Peace must return without wars and killings, violence must finally stop.
Thank you for this positive contribution that shakes our hearts!
Greetings Elke

This is powerful, Andrea. You have shown the better side of these struggles that are happening in the states right now. Thank you for sharing these with the world at large and this group of bloggers. I also have hopes like yours and you have certainly touched on the better aspects of human spirit. Thank you beyond belief for this powerful message, dear.

I wish for a world where people are not calling themselves or others "black" especially when they are not black, just a bit of color. My daughter has a colored father, when kids in daycare wondered why she was brown I said that when you paint and mix white with dark brown you get the color of my daughter. Her father was dark and I light. They understood. No problems whatsoever.
People should stop thinking of white and black. We are all of different shades. And we are all mixed up.
I hope your husband will be free of bad dreams.

Take care.
