Friday Face Off
This is an old piece I did a few years ago. I ran across it in my files and thought I would share it with you.
We are in full fledged Fall ... the weather is beautiful and the trees are turning. My favorite time of the year. I wish it could be like this all year around😂
Meanwhile, I just spent hours doing a painting in PhotoShop and when I hit "save as" the page went white and my picture disappeared. I am really bummed ... open to any suggestions on a way to recover my painting 😢

Lovely face Andrea. Sorry not a photoshop person.
Lovely portrait! Wonderful! Have a lovely weekend!
That could be me at the computer. LOL I love it! Your portrait is gorgeous! Her eyes have a sadness that you captured brilliantly. I also love the colors you used. Just a beautiful piece. Ohhhhh I don't paint on Photoshop so I can't help you with that. How disappointing. Did it happen to save in Photoshop? I'm so sorry, but thank you for sharing your art with FFO and have a very nice weekend.
That's a great face Andrea. And I especially love you at the computer. You look so comfy and exactly how I like to look. have a super weekend, hugs-Erika
That face is adorable, Andrea. You draw beautifully.
I have a full fledged PhotoShop that I paid mega bucks for and all I use it for is to darken or lighten my photos and watermark them. I'm hopeless when it comes to drawing anything in PS. I've never used the drawing tool that it offers.
Forgot to wish you a happy slightly belated FFO.
I should look so great sitting at my computer! Have a great weekend, Andrea. David 🩷
Hi, I have found your blogpost via DVArtist's Face Off.
How frustrating! I use photoshop but I have it in Spanish so I don't know what to tell you other than that I have a button where I can go back an action one at a time. Very useful when editing photos as there are sometimes many steps to where you want to be. See if you can find that button.
Is that you sitting at the computer in your PJs with a mug of coffee? (or something)
Enjoy your weekend,
Lisca
Dear Andrea, I’m so happy to have come across a blog post of yours via a link again. It’s been a while since I saw your name anywhere—I was starting to think you’d stopped blogging! Your "Self-Portrait at the Computer" is delightful, and the picture of the woman with the flowing hair is so beautifully expressive! As for your saving problem, I’m afraid I don’t have a solution for you—it sounded like a program crash to me... and usually, there’s nothing to be done about that. But I’m no expert, so there might well be someone else who can help you.
Belated Happy FFO!
All the best from Austria 🤗
