I love, as I always do, all of your art. I hope your Christmas and the coming year are wonderful and am so very sorry that I won't see you in January.

Dear Andrea, first of all: I'm sorry that your long comment has disappeared and I thank you very much for taking the trouble to write me such a lovely and long comment again. I VERY appreciate this!
Lovely, your Gingerbread Man - and in the Coookie!-picture, I think that's Izzi, the snow-loving dog? So sweet!
As for animals and their ability to endure the cold (as you mentioned in your comment), I'm also amazed. But I think we humans are just so degenerated - in earlier times people endured the cold better.
It's a shame that you HAVE to keep the lawn short. I hope that there will be a change in thinking for the sake of the environment... Thank you for telling me about the Luna Moth. I looked at it online - a truly fascinating animal!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can still wrap all your presents in time. There isn't a lot of gift giving and packaging here - only my daughter and grandson get a package. We adults have agreed that we don't need anything and just want to have a nice, cozy time together. (Okay, my daughter is an adult too, but there is always a little something for her - and a small financial subsidy ;-))
I wish you and everyone you love a wonderful Christmas ⛄πŸŽ„πŸ•―️ and a happy new year πŸ„πŸ€!
All the best, Traude

Outside the door, the stormy winds have calmed down, but it's still cold ... how cozy I sit here at the PC and write comments.
The holidays are almost over. We have been looking forward to Christmas for so long with lots of preparations, crafting, writing cards, decorating the house and of course the obligatory baking and cooking of cookies. Now we are looking forward to the new year. What will 2024 bring?

The gingerbread man looks adorable. I wonder if he has an answer for the next 12 months?

Hugs from Heidrun, I wish you a pleasant time
