Thursday Art Date With Rain ... Minimalism

Minimalism

Well, once again, most of these are digital art and some are sketches.  Not sure what to call them but I seem to have had a touch of minimalism in my creative eye.  This was a fun prompt for me and I probably, if time would have allowed, could have created many more minimalistic pieces.   But for now, this is it.  Hope all is going well with all of you and you are making the effort to stay safe as the Delta Variant is relentless and nobody is immune.

I like them all but my absolute faves are the first cat and the calla lily!

You once again have a great selection. Minimalist art is not really my thing! The calla lily is my fave today. Stay safe, Andrea, look after yourself! Hugs, Valerie

There is a real elegance (I can't think of any other word) to minimalism done well.
Which you achieve, with your usual panache.

It never ceases to amaze me that you are always able to come up with exactly the right selection of images for the theme at hand. Well done with minimalism!

Sorry I am so late visiting. I was so sick yesterday, I could barely sit up. Something I ate, I guess. I'm marginally better today, at least. Yu always come up with something beautiful and clever. You draw so well. Of course, you know I loved all the cats. They were all so beautiful and well done. Once more, I am so impressed by how well you handled this challenge.

wow, you really hit the top with this post. Minimalism is really your style. Apart from your furred friends I love the person reading a book. That one is my favorite today.

I wonder, about last weeks challenge. Did you not see my entry? I have not seen any comment from you. And I was so sure you would love the hummingbirds in my entry. As I do myself. Would love to know what you think.
I hope you are OK!

Andrea, these are wonderful, and I especially like the ones drawn on dark colors. It's very sad that the Delta Variant is taking such a toll. It didn't have to be like this. I get my Pfizer booster shot tomorrow morning, and even though it will likely make me sick like the last two times, I am so grateful. Take care!

Hi Andrea. I am glad I asked you abut last weeks post. I was surprised I did not see any, Now I know. The hummer is the Volcano hummingbird! I saw this sweet one in Costa Rica. Something I will never forget :)

Thanks Andrea. :) I thought you would love it!
A virtual hug to you!

Andrea,

Sorry for not getting by last week. Nice examples! I like the silhouette cat in the window. It makes me think of Halloween. :)
