Dark times indeed, Andrea, and we have a long way to go before we are back in the light. Love your wonderful selection of images and photos showing so many forms of light(s),darkness and shadows. The yin and yang cats are fabulous! Love the long tree shadows, too. I prefer to be in the light than the dark, but without the dark we would not be able to appreciate how beautiful light is. Have a good week, stay safe and well, hugs, Valerie

Hi Andrea :)) I love your photos! Especially the cats and the lamps...what a super idea to post photos of lights and lamps!! There is one that looks very nice, the hanging lamp with the wood stove in the back, looks like a quiet little cottage!! :) And YOU KNOW I LOVE those creepy ones too of the bats, and wolf teeth and jack o' lanterns!!! Love those!!! Thanks so much for joining in and stay healthy my friend!!! xx

I was sure I had left a comment, then noticed I had only read your post and not commented on it. I love your photos. The bats were great, but I think the black cat was my favorite. Yin and Yang were adorable, too. These are really thoughtful and wonderful contributions this week.

wow, that was a lot of shots. The first cat shot made me smile. Thanks, we need it. :) The second, dark, one. the eyes. I love that one. A gorgeous edit of the shot. You should frame it!
The tree shadow on the snow is gorgeous as well.
I and my family are well so far. I have been out for a walk in the marsh today. Going out to a birding platform. Lots of mute swans out there. :)

Stay safe.
