Pool
There is a story here ... years ago my friend had emptied her pool for the winter, but, during the winter, rain and snow had collected in the bottom. In the Spring the resident frogs laid their eggs in the water. By the time we went out to clean the pool and fill it with water, it was full of Tadpoles. These pictures are us saving the Tadpoles from certain death by scooping them up, putting them in pails and pouring them in a local stream. We never went back to see if they survived, but in my heart I know at least some of them lived (if not all of them) to be a handsome Frog Prince and live happily ever after 😄
Izzi in her pool ...
And to all my friends around the world ... please know that most Americans do not like, do not agree with or want to tolerate Donald Trump. I am not alone in that I abhor what he is doing to our friends, allies and to us. This will end, but I don't know how yet ... I do know we love our democracy and even those who voted for him are alarmed at his actions. Say a prayer for all of us ...

If you are counting on prayers, Andrea, you are really in trouble!
On a different note, why am I not surprised that you rescued the tadpoles? You knew it was the thing to do - and you did it. Bravo! Hugs - David
Thank you for rescuing the tadpoles. It is way too long since I have seen any.
Our heart goes out to you - and the world as your current President wreaks havoc.
What an adventure cleaning the pool and saving the frogs. I'm sure you did the best you could. Always good to see spring. Thank you.
...I wish you an Awesome April.
A funny story about the frog. Have a wonderful weekend. Greetings by Heidrun
I always rescue tadpoles/frogs from the pool. Glad to see others doing the same!
Thank you for this memory and also for these magnificent photos of the spring to come. As for your psychotic President and his clique of corrupt and incompetent morons, I'm afraid prayers won't be enough. If the American people can't kick him out on his ass, I fear the worst for your country and, alas, for Europe, which has done nothing for 80 years to emancipate itself from American tutelage. I 'm aware of the contradiction I'm in. I'm still writing this on Google because I can't find a European blog platform of the same quality.
