Clay
When my Granddaughter spent weekends with us we would pass the time doing as many different art projects as we could imagine ... art was a big part of our lives. Modeling clay was among our favorites. We bought the clay that you could bake
in the oven so they would be more permanent.
Years later when my second Granddaughter came to live with us from Thailand, we did a little clay modeling to pass the time.
Both of my Granddaughters are talented artists, but neither of them are pursuing it in any way other than a hobby ... a relaxing, enjoyable way to pass time. Life, however, in the USA continues to be a ongoing saga. It has reached a point where I am afraid to listen to or to not listen to the news, so instead, I use my art to relax ... once again, an enjoyable way to pass time. It is good to have all of my Blog friends to keep my mind off the inevitable. Spring is just around the corner ... a time of fresh, warm air and beautiful new life. I look forward to it :)

Wonderful clay art Andrea!
Your Granddaughter is adorable. You are lucky to be able t spend time with her doing these art projects. She is also talented.
...your granddaughter has been active and creative. Keep up the good work, sweetie!
I too remember when grandchildren spent time with us, doing things and going places. Now the oldest is getting married in June and the youngest will be going to university in the fall. Times change! Hugs - David
Lovely scenes with your grandaughter indeed. She looks happy. It's the best time, I believe. Many greetings, Heidrun
