Rain Frances Creations ... Arch

 Arch

New Art

(Arch Enemies)
sketch, paint, place in background(Google images) and frame(Pic Monkey)

I stretched the meaning of arch so I could do some art :)  We have had some scary weather around here ... storms, heavy rains and tornados.  Thankfully all is well at my home, but my heart goes out to those who suffered damage and/or injuries.  Hope all of you are safe ...

Lovely photos of all the arches. I had to smile at your arch enemy paintings.

Dear Andrea, you have a great collection of arches - both in the traditional sense and in stretched form :-). I find the curved necks of the swans particularly beautiful! When I saw Rain's Prompt, I immediately thought of Arches National Park, which we visited during our world trip. But it's too early to post this part of our trip - everything in order, one after the other ;-))
You're right, this journey was a wow-what-a-ride trip. But that can definitely be said about my whole life. (Although that doesn't mean that everything was always rosy - it's just an interesting ups and downs life with some extremely lucky coincidences, for which I'm extremely grateful.)
I'm glad that nothing happened to you in the freak weather. It's just hot, hot, hot here at the moment. And once again I'm grateful: I no longer have to drive to work in the hot big city and work in an unair-conditioned office. If I want, I can drive to a lake or sit in front of my PC with a fan blowing lightly or run the irrigation system through the water in the garden. What a ride! ;-))
All the best and a happy weekend, Traude
