Just Because ...

In Memory of Monica;s "Trees and Bushes" ... of course I would find this magnificent evergreen tree in the Forest Preserve after I have no place to share it.  But, here it is for all to see :)  Enjoy!
Izzi is showing you how big it really is :)

And, speaking of Izzi ... take a look at her new Chenille do :)

  1. Oh my, that tree is just gorgeous!! Gee, can you tell that I love trees? My yard is loaded with huge giant pines, but none like this one. Actually, mine are Norwegian Spruce. (but still part of the evergreen family)

I must say that Izzi girl is looking beautiful too. Pogo sends her an extra big lick and some woofs. He thinks she's just gorgeous.

Today Cliff is here painting more of the trim on the house and a few more fill-in areas that are looking a bit shabby. I'll probably have to replace all the siding, and re-paint all the rest of the house. Hmmm, it's always something. Maybe that will be a good project for the Spring.

Now I'm off to see what's tasty for lunch for the Pogo and me. You have a wonderful day my friend. Hugs, Edna B.

  2. That tree is huge! I'm trying to catch up on reading the blogs again, it seems I don't get to them on a regular basis any more, too much to do around here with the kids. Interesting hairdo Izzy is sporting, I like your name for it...very descriptive.

  3. that´s a mighty tree for sure. And Izzy seem to like her short sut.
For some reason I got a song in my head, "just because" and now I can´t figure out who sang it :(

And, travel news, I might go to Yellowstone in Sept next year. I just found a trip, finally, to Y. :)
