Weekend Reflection

We watched our local fireworks from our deck.  They were actually 2 miles away, but bright enough to cast a reflection on our lake ...

This is beautiful, Andrea. What a beautiful reflection!! I've been catching up here. I love your feline art. The silhouette of the cat reaching up with it's paw makes it wonderful. Very interesting! I love birds, so of course, I love the image of the blackberries and the blue jay. Super editing on the berries. They look delicious!!!

Now for those gorgeous fireworks. What a beautiful reflection on the water. Amazing that the fireworks reflected even though they were so far away. I'm jealous!!! Maybe next year I'll look for a fireworks display by the water not too far away from us, and set up nearby so that I can take some photos. We'll see. It's something to look forward to.

You're taking some wonderful photos with your new camera. I lent my SX50 to my kids to take prom and graduation photos, and I think they are adopting it. I may have to invest in another for myself. Hmmm, not exactly a horrible task. I just have to do my research to see if I want the 50 or the 60.

How is Izzi getting along these days? The heat must be the worst for her. And the inactivity. Pogo and I send her wishes for a speedy recovery. Speaking of Pogo, he is such a character. If I laze about in my jammies or housecoat, he is quite happy. As soon as I get dressed in any kind of outfit, he assumes that I am going out somewhere and he starts getting antsy. He adheres himself to my ankle, then does his little happy dance so that I'll be sure to take him with me. Poor little fellow. Sometimes it's just nice to be dressed!!! All the while I was sick, I mostly lived in my jammies, so this is definitely my fault

I would get him a playmate so he would not mind staying at home when I'm out, but I don't he would like sharing his space with another animal. Well, I want to go play with him for a while, because I'm going grocery shopping in a while and he has to stay home.

Pogo sends woofs and a big lick to Izzi. You have a wonderful weekend, hugs, Edna B.
