Our World Tuesday

This was a fun day with good friends ... Spring will be upon us soon (though we just got 4 inches of snow last night) and the Garden Show is a must if we are to be ready for it when it gets here.

The landscaping and flower design is magnificent, but few of us could afford to have any of it on our yards or homes ... the fun part comes when we get to the venders :)

On our way out we spotted some more interesting sights ...

This, believe it or not, is a cake ... and the Bakery that created it is near my home.  It was such a temptation to slide my finger through the frosting and then lick it off ... yummmm, it would have been so good :)

And sadly ... back to reality :(  Though it is beautiful :)  There is always an up side if you look for it.

Garden shows are always a triumph of hope, of beauty and of hard work. This looks like an absolute stunner. Megathanks.

What gorgeous shots at the garden show, and how hard it must have been to go back outside. Spring is here though, so it should soon begin behaving like it ! Glad you had such a great time and what a wonderful place to go!

AH....There's nothing like a garden show to help you live through those last days of March and all the snow. Those mini terrariums are splendid! All the photos were pure eye candy and a delight to the senses. I could almost smell the loamy soil and feel the texture of the leaves on my hands. I would have had a hard time keeping my finger out of that cake as well. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven.

Oh wow, I'm so jealous! All those beautiful flowers and plants, and wonderful new garden decorations. I don't get to go to these shows when they have them here because they are held in Boston and I do not drive into or through Boston. It's a nightmare. Unless someone else is going and offers to bring me along, I make do with photos that others share.

So I thank you for sharing these wonderful photos. It's almost as good as being there in person. I thought that figurine of the woman adorned with (vines? and plants is just amazing. I also thought that cake was fabulous.

Such a beautiful post, than you again for sharing. You have a wonderful day, Hugs, Edna B..
