NatureFootstep ... Catching Light

That eerie glow in our western sky is caused by a ski hill about two miles from our house ... I have tried many times to capture it but being at night and being that I rarely carry a tripod with me ... I am thinking this is as good as it is going to get.  Have a wonderful week everyone and let the light shine in, whatever the source ... :)

You sound like me, trying again and again to get 'the' shot. This one is pretty awesome.

This is really pretty Andrea. I don't carry my tripod around, so I have to rely on the "hand held" shots too. But sometimes they are still awesome. Today we're enjoying a break in the snow falling. Our roofs are all cleared of the piled up snow, and vacation time is right around the corner. Less than two weeks away. Tomorrow we have more snow coming, but Joe has the day off from work so he will go with Pogo and me when we head out for Pogo's appointments.

It's good that Izzi has made friends with Mint. Think of all the fun they can have outside in the Spring. What an exciting time for you. Speaking of Spring. I can't wait!! Anything green popping up through the ground is going to look like such a treasure!!! I took Pogo out to play in the snow, but he was not so happy about that at all. Oh well, at least we tried. He's a creature of comfort like his mama.

Well now I'm off to see what sort of mischief we can get into today. You and Izzi have a super day and stay warm. Hugs, Edna B.

yea, that kind of light is hard to catch. In this case I thing the grains gives it an artsy touch. :)

Well at least your skiers are getting to use the lift. Around here the Ski resorts have been hit hard by the fact we've had little snow at all this winter. Sun is shining here today. I like the mysterious feel of your photo.
